At Oneka, caring for our planet starts with protecting the water that sustains us all. Every formula is crafted to be gentle on aquatic ecosystems, using plant-based ingredients that break down naturally and return safely to the earth. Our products are biodegradable, meaning they won’t linger or cause harm once they wash down the drain.
From responsible harvesting to clean, conscious formulations, we’re committed to creating self-care that respects the waterways, wildlife, and communities around us. Choosing Oneka means choosing care that flows clean—today and for generations to come.
Additionally, Oneka actively supports WATER FIRST, a NGO whose work helps address water challenges in Indigenous communities in Canada through youth and young adults education, training, and meaningful collaborations.
The name Oneka is inspired from the Mohawk word Ohne:ka. We have chosen it with gratitude, for its meaning: water, as it beautifully reflects the importance for us to craft and use personal care products that respect and protect water resources.
We respectfully acknowledge that our co-founders are not Indigenous, and our products are not based on Indigenous knowledge or traditional practices.
